Inquiry can be lodged when items with extra services, such as Registered mail, Tracked Services[1], and Insured items[2], are considered lost. Inquiry service allows the sender to acknowledge the status of the item officially when no information can be obtained by the online tracking services. In some countries, refunds are only available when the inquiry shows the mail has been lost.
